Botswana Agate is a variety of Agate, Chalcedony (silicon dioxide) from Botswana. It is characterized by distinct banding and bold circular or ovoid markings. The base colour is brown/black /greyish purple with white patterns and bands of pink to yellow/pink – peach or apricot coloured tones, and is often a combination of many of these colours within one piece.
