Dendritic Opal is a form of common Opal that has dark dendritic, tubular or orbicular markings within the base Opal, which can be composed of Manganese, the dendrites (plumes) often appear to be shaped like mosses, ferns or trees.
Please note that Dendritic Opal is sometimes referred to by the metaphysical name of Merlinite, a crystal which is very similar in chemical composition and appearance.
Opal is a hydrated silica mineral which comprises of microscopic spheres of silica which are bound together with water and silica and there are two forms of Opal, common and precious. Common Opal is normally opaque the colour range including white, blue, pink, yellow, yellow/orange, brown or black, and all could contain dendrite formations.
The frequency of Dendritic Opal connects to all the physical chakras with a stronger resonance to certain chakras depending on the base colour of the Opal, eg white crown chakra.
The energy of Dendritic Opal helps with one’s growth, both within the physical body and with one’s “spiritual”growth”. It allows one’s to be able to be consciously aware of the nature of life’s experience, giving one clarity into one’s actions and bringing balance and harmony into one’s life.
Dendritic Opal supports one’s intent and helps one to organize one’s thoughts, feelings and actions, so that one becomes discerning and is able to be accepting of others. This in turn helps one become non judgmental, just acknowledging others for who they are, an important lesson for one’s growth.
