Howlite is a calcium borosilicate hydroxide mineral and is characterized by light/dark grey irregular web-like veining within a white opaque matrix.
This mineral can easily take up various coloured dyes and the blue- turquoise stone known as Turquenite is often dyed Howlite or Magnesite, a magnesium carbonate mineral.
The frequency of Howlite connects to the crown chakra, it cleanses this chakra so that one is open to higher vibrational impulses, it allows one to view situations with an “open-ness” allowing one to become discerning in one’s thoughts and actions.
