Spirit Quartz is type of Quartz (silicon dioxide) with an unusual growth habit characterized by a central facetted terminated point, the main body of which is covered in small terminated points. It is also known as Cactus Quartz or Porcupine Quartz. It is usually composed of Amethyst although it can occur as Citrine, White Quartz and Smokey Quartz. Spirit Quartz is found only in South Africa.
The frequency of Spirit Quartz connects to the Earth star, base, solar plexus, third eye and crown chakras depending on the main type of crystal.
